Plan Your Visit to Fonmon Castle!

Standard Tickets are for days when Fonmon Castle is open without events. If Standard Tickets don’t appear for a date, that day is an Event Day or we are closed. 

We open every weekend from 18th April, except during school holidays.
During school holidays, weekends become Event Days, so Standard Tickets won’t be available

Park Opens: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Enjoy a relaxed, self‑guided day exploring 350 acres of history, nature, and adventure at your own pace. Take your time wandering through Jurassic Wales, where life‑sized dinosaurs and woodland trails create an immersive prehistoric landscape. Stroll around the castle and formal gardens, discover the charm of the Victorian walled garden, follow the story trail through shaded paths, and step back in time inside the medieval village.

As these days are non event days it will be quieter, you can also venture up into Fonmon’s historic library, a rare chance to experience one of the castle’s most atmospheric rooms. Lady Anne Café will be open, offering a cosy spot to pause for drinks and snacks as you explore.

For those looking to add a little extra excitement, have a go at archery and axe throwing  are available on the day for an additional cost.

Whether you’re here for the scenery, the history, the dinosaurs, or simply a peaceful day outdoors, this ticket gives you the freedom to enjoy the whole estate in your own way.

With a children’s playpark, extensive woodland walks, and engaging activities, Fonmon Castle offers fun, exercise, and education for all ages.
